Things that mesmerizes me at Madrid.

- We learned that Spanish language do have major similarity with English language.
- The Metro coach here are look very much alike Malaysian famous ERL coach.
- Weather here is very hot with dry air. Hope we (Me, Azar, Faris and Ika) still able to fulfill our Obligation as Muslims in this barakah month of Ramadan.
- There are a lot of beautiful places waiting around for us to visit them. For now, we've only confirmed at least to visit 7 places.
- Our popularity as Malaysian. Once again wherever we go people still able to identify us Malaysian.

Pembantu Guru or Teacher Assistant (T.A.) is not a new career in Malaysia education systems. But their work scope is only limited to help teacher dealing with the special need children.

Today, Harian Metro (tabloid newspaper) released an article regarding to dilemma face by teachers in Malaysia. Overwork, stress and all sort of 'secretary' matter are what haunted teachers in Malaysia.

Rising from this matter, some teacher voice out their opinion that teacher should have teacher assistant or T.A. to help them manage the class and complete the administrative tasks.

I personally agree that this idea can really helpful. It will provide an opportunity for teachers to give thier full attention in teaching. By doing so, students will be benifited from this action as the will get a quality education.

The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraqand Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army.

U.S. military rules specifically prohibit the proselytizing of any religion in Iraq or Afghanistan and were drawn up in order to prevent criticism that the U.S. was embarked on a religious "Crusade" in its war against al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents.

In 1980, Malaysia purchased 88 surplus Skyhawks airframes (25 A-4C, 63 A-4L) for refurbishment, redesignaton as A-4PTM (Peculiar To Malaysia), and assignment to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).
However, inflationary costs eventually reduced the buy to 40 airframes.
Upgrading of the A-4PTMs by the Grumman Aerospace facility at St. Augustine, FL, included rewiring; addition of two ordnance wing stations; rework of the J65 engines; and installation of improved avionics and ordnance gear, the enarged A-4M canopy, and a drag chute.
An undetermined number of the single-seat PTM Skyhawks were rebuilt into two-seat TA-4PTM configuration similar to the TA-4.
The PTM Skyhawks were delivered to the RMAF in late 1985 and early 1986, and had a relatively short service life. Except for six TA-4PTMs retained for aerial tanker duty, the Malaysian Skyhawks were all retired by late 1994.

My opinion regarding CLIL or PPSMI in Malaysia.

I found out that Khairy Jamaluddin or best known as KJ has able to voiced out genuine and brilliant opinion regarding to the science and math in English issues in Malaysia. Some of his point of view is true and it is something for the people in Malaysia to ponder. I believe that blaming others will not solve this issue. Instead, we should sit together and try to find the best solution for the problems arise from this policy (CLIL). At first, I am also among people who believe that CLIL strategy is not the best choice for Malaysian education system. It is due to my understanding that CLIL will actually impaired students' understanding especially those who are coming from the rural areas. My observation of how teacher integrated CLIL in their lesson also convince me that CLIL is actually hazardous to Malaysia education. At that time I believe that English should not be mixed up with other subject especially science and math. But after, I come here (MARJON) I discover that CLIL is possible to be implemented and it is one of the best ways for students to acquire the language. Starting from that moment, I try to understand what CLIL really is and why it so mess up in Malaysia.

When I read this letter, I somehow agree with most of KJ view about Malaysian CLIL. He says that CLIL policy in Malaysia is half-baked and the attempt to fix the problem is not a permanent solution but a temporary one. So from my point of view, I believe that KJ voice about this matter is relevant and people the authority should try to seek help or advice from the other nation that has successfully integrated CLIL in their education. I also agreed with KJ view that and extensive research should be done before the government decide to implement any policy in the future. As for the CLIL problem in Malaysia, I suggest that the authority should try to revise the syllabus and try to come up with the better one so that teacher can use it to maximize CLIL’s benefit in class.

Besides, I am thinking that the government should try to give an active support rather that passive support for the teacher to improve their teaching in English language. The support program that we have right now is not that effective as not many teachers can really get the benefit from it. Instead, I believe that teacher should be given active support such as by providing them more opportunities to use English at least during the school hours. For example, nowadays the English day in school is only one day, why not we extend the periods into two or three days. This will provide teacher and students to practice their English and will eventually help to improve their proficiency.

However, I do not agree with some point made by KJ as I seen it is not coherent with what I have learned. For instance, KJ state that CLIL will actually hampered students’ ability to master the science and math subject. This is not true, as this problem can be traced way back to the times before CLIL is implemented. I think the cause for this problem is actually embedded in how Malaysian classroom is conducted. Most of teachers favor traditional approach in learning which limit student contribution for their own learning and will eventually tampered with their ability to acquire the knowledge. Based on this argument, I believe that CLIL should not be the scapegoat for this old problem. CLIL is actually designed and intended to help students to master English by providing them with the mean to learn the language and the opportunity to practice the language.

I also disagree with KJ opinion that CLIL policy should be abandoned after a lot of money and resources has been used. Instead, I think the authority should try to identify the flaw in the policy and take more serious action and long term solution for the matter. Overall, I believe that CLIL is a good thing to be implemented in Malaysia education system but research should be done extensively to ensure it will actually benefit the students.

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 April: Walaupun menang dalam pertandingan ketua pemuda Umno, nampaknya melalui pengaruh bekas perdana menteri, Tun Dr Mahathir, Khairy Jamaludin Abu Bakar tidak tersenarai dalam kabinet baru yang diumumkan Datuk Seri Najib hari ini.

Malah, naib beliau, Razali Ibrahim dan orang yang beliau kalahkah iaitu anak Mahathir, Mukhris Mahathir, dilantik menyertai barisan kepimpinan negara yang baru.

Hanya Khairy yang tertinggal dalam kabinet ini, ketua sayap-sayap Umno iaitu wanita dan puteri semuanya disenaraikan dalam barisan kepimpinan baru Najib ini.

Sebelum ini, Mahathir berkata, beliau tidak campur tangan dalam pemilihan kabinet ini tetapi menyatakan panentangannya jika Khairy dilantik dalam kebinet baru ini.

Saya bukan jawatankuasa PAS, atau orang Kelantan, namun bagi saya sesiapa yang menempelak kenyataan YAB MB Kelantan tentang isu nama Allah adalah mereka yang kurang jelas tentang akidah Islam, atau mempertahankan apa yang mereka tidak faham.

Saya telah tulis isu ini lebih setahun yang lalu dalam artikel saya yang disiarkan dalam MM bertajuk 'Beza Antara Menyebut Nama Allah Dan Merpertahankan Akidah'.

Saya telah kemukakan hujah dan alasan bahawa mereka boleh memanggil Tuhan dengan 'Allah'. Al-Quran dan Sunnah membenarkannya. Akidah bukan diukur dengan panggilan, tetapi dengan membezakan antara tauhid dan syirik.

Majlis Fatwa Perlis semasa saya menjadi mufti membuat keputusan sebulat suara keharusan bukan muslim memanggil Tuhan dengan panggilan Allah. Jangan kita nak divert isu politik, kita bangkit isu agama, nanti agama menjadi mangsa permainan manusia.

Saya nasihat kepada yang bising isu ini, jika nak berjihad, biarlah kena pada tempatnya. Ini bukan isu yang patut kita bertarung kerananya.

Jika ingin melarang bukan muslim guna nama Allah jangan sebut Islam melarang tetapi beritahu mereka peraturan Kerajaan Malaysia melarangnya atas sebab-sebab tertentu.

Jangan jadikan isu agama nanti mereka hairan lain al-Quran cakap, lain pihak yang memakai jenama agama cakap. Apa yang patut JAKIM fikirkan adalah bagaimana cara agar bukan muslim dalam negara kita lebih faham dan suka dengan Islam.

Aper nak jadi dengan orang melayu ini yang kononnya membela melayu. Tetapi dalam sedar menghina bahasa melayu itu sendiri. Apalah salahnya aku, orang kelantan dan orang terenganu ingin bertutur dalam dialek masing2. Dialek itupun sebahagian daripada bahasa melayu juga. Dasar goblok yang tidak tahu berfikir. Artikel yang ditulis umpama ingin memecah belahkan Melayu itu sendiri. Jangan jadi dungu la wahai penulis blog tersebut, jangan bermegah2 kononya anda ialah penyatu melayu. Dalami dahulu adab tertib melayu sebelum anda mengaku anda jaguh menyatukan Melayu. Menghina dialek orang lain adalah satu perbuatan yang kurang ajar dan biadap. Aku tidak kisah kalau penulis tersebut ingin menulis artikel politik tetapi biarlah ada batas. Janganlah cakap macam murai yang bodoh itu. Ingatlah anda manusia yang pasti akan dihisab di akhirat bukan haiwan yang akan menjadi tanah di akhirat.

Malaysia sekali lagi ditimpa nasib malang apabila skuad bola kita gagal untuk mempamerkan aksi yang cemerlang di Phuket. Nampaknya gimik utk mngankut skuad negara ke Phuket menggunakan pesawat pengankut tentera, C 130 hercules di lihat kurang berupaya utk membantu skuad negara sekurang-kurangnya melayakkan diri ke final di kejohanan Piala Suzuki itu.

Salah jurulatih? Agak kurang tepat. Beliau telah membuktikan kebolehanya sewaktu cemerlang membimbing skuad B23 nasional. Alahai bola malaysia. Bila la nk menyinar skali lagi, tak kesian kah anda dengan para ultras kita, xjemu - jemu meyokong pasukan bola kita semua di arena.

Mungkinkah ada permasalahan yang terlepas pandang sewaktu perbincangan FAM. Ini kerana setiap kali penyelesaian dijumpai, Pasukan Harimau kita masih tetap dibelenggu dengan masalah prestasi yang sama.

Diharapkan agar FAM, jurulatih, para pemain dan wakil die-hard fan pasukan Malaysia dapat duduk semeja mencari punca sebenar permasalahan yang masih membelenggu pasukan Malaysia.

Buat para pemain kita teruskan berjuang untuk negara, kekalahan merupakan satu rahmat agar anda semua sedar masih ada ruang untuk diperbaiki. Menyumbanglah kepada negara melalui skill-skill anda di padang bola sepak dunia.

Aku ialah antara penyokong Pasukan Malaysia tidak pernah berpatah arang untuk melihat pasukan kita kembali megah di persada dunia. Hidup pasukan Malaysia. Buat pemain beragama Islam banyak2 kan lah berdoa kerana kita yang merancang tp Allah S.W.T yang menentukan.

The best documentary i've ever see. (10 TAHUN)

Last night my friends have introduced me a short documentary named 10 Tahun. It is about the left wing merdeka's fighter life stories. This documentary objectives is to highlight the facts that the left wing also fought for our independences. Well overall, this documentary showed me the history's knowledge that i've could never obtain from the textbook. For example, I did not know that PKMM real Full name is "Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya" and I also did not aware that 10'000 Malays who opposed the Federation constitution have been banished from Malaya at that time.

Besides, this documentary is so meaningful to me as the director a.k.a. Fahmi Reza has put all of his effort to make this film a reality. Although, it's a low budget film project, but it managed to catch my attention to watch it till the ends. The director has shown that he is a very creative and talented person, no CGI been used in this documentary, yet it still appeared to all my senses.

The director also has done some homework that help him to understand what is the left wing movement actually. He also have visited some left wing's personals and interviewed them about their struggle for Malaya's Independence. The personals have described their stories well and it really open my eyes toward the true meaning of 'Merdeka'. For me, this is the best documentary about our nation and it should be watch by all of our countrymen. Dude, wake up from the sweet dream, its time for us the youngster to do something to make our elders proud. Lets us prove, that we are a strong nation and nothing is impossible for us.

P/S: May Allah Bless all our Merdeka's Fighter souls and let them rest in peace, Amiin.

Tidak ada tempat lebih baik di bumi ini selain rumah-rumah Allah yang dikenali sebagai masjid ataupun surau. Ini kerana di situlah terbit segala ketenangan yang diimpikan oleh segenap insan, iaitu insan yang berusaha membentuk dirinya menjadi hamba Allah yang terbaik sepanjang hidup dengan amalan-amalan yang bersifat peribadatan hanya kepada-Nya.

Tidak ada tempat di bumi ini yang mampu menjanjikan ketenangan dan kedamaian hidup, melainkan rumah Allah. Justeru terdapat sebuah hadis Nabi s.a.w. menegaskan bahawa rumah Allah menjanjikan bukan sekadar ketenangan, malah beberapa nikmat lain sebagai dorongan berbuat kebaikan.

Hal ini telah disebut menerusi hadis Nabi s.a.w. yang diriwayatkan oleh Imam Muslim daripada Abu Hurairah maksudnya: "Tidak berhimpun satu kaum dalam rumah daripada rumah-rumah Allah (masjid/surau), membaca kitab Allah (al-Quran) dan berdiskusi mengenainya sesama mereka, melainkan diturunkan ke atas mereka ketenangan, mereka diselubungi dengan rahmat Allah, dikelilingi dengan para Malaikat (menulis segala kebaikan mereka) dan Allah akan sentiasa mengingati mereka (kerana mereka juga mengingati-Nya)."

Segala janji yang ditaburkan oleh baginda Rasulullah dalam hadis di atas, bukanlah satu perkara retorik seperti janji-janji dalam pilihan raya, ia janji yang akan ditunaikan sendiri oleh Allah SWT, iaitu agar umat Islam menjadi umat terbaik dengan mengecapi ketenangan, kedamaian hidup, rahmat Allah serta yang paling penting mereka diingati oleh Allah selaku Pencipta manusia.

Janji-janji tersebut diberikan apabila ada di kalangan insan Muslim yang memiliki ciri-ciri kebaikan seperti membaca dan mendiskusikan al-Quran, dalam erti kata mereka bersedia untuk mengkaji isi-isi kandungannya untuk dijadikan bahan rujukan, pegangan, kefahaman menuju jalan sempurna.

Justeru, Allah SWT menegaskan bahawa golongan Muslim yang sanggup memakmurkannya rumah-Nya adalah terdiri daripada mereka yang benar-benar memiliki kualiti iman yang sempurna.

Hal ini ditegaskannya menerusi ayat 18 surah at-Taubah maksudnya: "Hanyasanya yang layak memakmurkan (menghidupkan) masjid-masjid Allah itu ialah orang-orang yang beriman kepada Allah dan hari akhirat serta mendirikan sembahyang dan menunaikan zakat dan tidak takut melainkan kepada Allah, (dengan adanya sifat-sifat Yang tersebut) maka adalah diharapkan mereka menjadi dari golongan yang mendapat petunjuk."

Ayat di atas jelas menunjukkan bahawa keimanan yang kental, kepercayaan teguh berpegang kepada hari akhirat, melaksanakan tugas utama dengan bersolat, mengeluarkan zakat serta takut hanya kepada Allah dan tidak yang lain selain-Nya, adalah senjata utama bagi mengekalkan seseorang yang beriman itu menjadi pemakmur rumah Allah yang setia.

Di mana remaja dalam hal ini?

Remaja Muslim pada hari ini lebih tersohor dengan kumpulan 'mat/minah rempit', menjadi golongan yang suka membuang masa seperti terlibat dalam budaya lepak di sana sini, terlibat dengan program-program hiburan melampau, menjadi penyokong kelab bola sepak negeri dan bermacam-macam lagi.

Remaja Muslim hari ini tidak berusaha meningkatkan prestasi kefahaman mereka dengan Islam, sehingga sanggup menjadi golongan penagih dadah, golongan perosak agama dengan penampilan yang tidak sama sekali memperlihatkan 'Islamik', malah ada ketikanya memalukan Islam itu sendiri.

Ada di antara mereka sanggup menjadi golongan yang membuat angkara terhadap program-program masjid, dengan bertindak liar menghalang mereka yang mahu ke masjid atau surau, atau pun terdapat di kalangan mereka yang bersukan berhampiran dengan masjid, tetapi tidak mengendahkan azan yang berkumandang pada waktu Maghrib, berhenti apabila ada teguran daripada pihak tertentu.

Inilah yang dikatakan tindakan bagaikan meroboh masjid, banyak pihak merasa bimbang dengan tindakan seumpama itu, apatah jika tindakan itu boleh dikaitkan dengan firman Allah menerusi ayat 114 surah al-Baqarah yang membawa maksud: "Dan siapakah yang lebih zalim daripada orang-orang yang menyekat dan menghalangi dari menggunakan masjid-masjid Allah untuk (sembahyang dan) menyebut nama Allah di dalamnya, dan ia berusaha pula untuk meruntuhkan masjid-masjid itu? Orang-orang yang demikian, tidak sepatunya masuk ke dalam masjid-masjid itu melainkan dengan rasa penuh hormat dan takut kepada Allah (bukan secara apa mereka lakukan itu). Mereka (dengan perbuatan itu) akan beroleh kehinaan di dunia, dan di akhirat kelak mereka mendapat azab seksa yang amat besar."

Itu semua tidak melambangkan mereka hidup dengan Islam secara serius, malah hala tuju hidup mereka pun masih kabur, justeru apa yang amat diharapkan dari golongan remaja muslim ini adalah tercetus rasa kesedaran yang amat mendalam terhadap Islam, di ketika Islam diinjak, difitnah, dimahkamahkan, dituduh dengan pelbagai pendekatan negatif, oleh itu remaja seluruhnya disaran agar menjadi remaja seperti yang pernah disebut oleh al-Quran dengan istilah 'Ashabul Kahfi' dan 'Ashabul Ukhdud'.

Ketahuilah bahawa pada usia remaja ini juga tidak akan terlepas daripada dibuat perhitungan di sisi Allah pada hari akhirat. Ia pernah ditegaskan oleh baginda Rasulullah s.a.w. dalam hadis yang bermaksud: "Sebelum kedua-kedua kaki anak Adam (manusia) tergelincir untuk dimasukkan dalam syurga atau pun neraka, maka dia akan ditanya dengan empat perkara: Waktu remajanya apa yang telah dia habiskan, seluruh umurnya apa yang telah dibuat (untuk kebaikan dirinya), tentang hartanya daripada mana sumber ia diperolehi dan bagaimana pula ia dibelanjakan, tentang ilmunya, apa yang telah dia lakukan." (Hadis riwayat Mu'az Bin Jabal).

Remaja hari perlu mencontohi remaja-remaja silam khususnya di kalangan para sahabat dan lain-lain, mereka juga ada perasaan untuk bersuka-ria, rasa nak 'enjoy', tetapi semuanya dikekang kerana ia tidak memberi apa-apa kepada Islam, justeru remaja hari ini juga perlu mentelaah sejarah itu untuk mengembalikan keyakinan diri dengan Islam. - lanh _

This night is quite a lonesome night for me. Don't know what to do even though I have lot of assignments waiting to be done. But somehow I feel so lazy this night. I need some motivation to kickstart my mood to do the assignment. Well please somebody help me, inspire me to do me assignment. I need it fast and i need it in high doses.

My friends out there, please enjoy your life to the fullest, but do not forget we are not alone here, HE is watching us from above, so please behave ya don nkal2. Well in this few weeks i kinda realized that i need to improve myself and at the same time try not to be so boring. So I decided that for few days i will be in the silent mode and try to actually watch others and how they behave. Maybe it can trigger something in my head. I don't want to be called a headless chicken again. I am a human being that always need guidance so that i will become a great person. Insyallah.

Minggu Kesenian Islam is the special week where the people in my institution celebrate that whole week by organizing Islamic activities. For instance, we do organized Musabakah, hafazan Al Quran, Khat Competition and etc. the objectives are to strengthen the bond or 'ukhwah' between us the Muslim and the non-Muslim. The non also invited to join our activities such as jejak kembara, futsal match and netball competition. with god will, Insyallah this week will be full with the Barakah from ALLAH amin.
